AC Milan, Bonucci ‘destined’ to skip Juve clash

AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci was awarded as one of the best defenders of last season and talked to Premium Sport ahead of the event organized in London by FIFA.
Bonucci was given his marching order against Genoa this past week-end and the straight red card will force him to skip the next two games, including the week-end clash to Juventus.

“It was an involuntary gesture, I am sorry to have wounded Rosi and I told him. I will skip the Juventus clash, it was the destiny.”

“The manager is always under accusation when there are no results. We back Montella and we must remain united.”

“AC Milan are big side, we have a great season ahead of us. We haven’t been lucky but I am sure we will get back on track. I didn’t expect such a bad start to the season although this is a new project. I know what I have to do to improve and everybody wants to react.”
