AC Milan, Montella wants to sign Chelsea loanee Pasalic on a permanent deal

AC Milan boss Vincenzo Montella revealed that he’d like to sign Marko Pasalic on a permanent deal even if the Chelsea loanee has yet to register his first appearance with the Serie A giants this term.

According to various reports, Pasalic could leave AC Milan in the January window and join a German or Spanish team on a six-month loan but Montella’s words have now changed the future of the 21-year-old midfielder.

As our reporter Daniele Longo points out, Pasalic joined AC Milan last summer on a dry spell with a first-option clause. The rossoneri have invested € 200.000 for the player’s season loan and could pay up to € 1 million if Pasalic reaches a certain number of appearances.

Milan do not have an option to buy, but the can match any other offer received by Chelsea. Despite being one of the seven players of AC Milan with no official appearances so far, the future of Pasalic could still be at the San Siro.
