AC Milan make improved bid for €100m Chelsea target

AC Milan have made an improved bid to sign Torino star Andrea Belotti, according to a report of Sky Sport. Belotti, 23, is a long time target of Chelsea as well but today’s edition of Tuttosport states the rossoneri are currently leading the race to sign him.

Sky Sport fail to reveal how much AC Milan have bid to sign Belotti but report Torino have rejected their offer. AC Milan, in fact, want to include one of their players in a potential player-plus-cash swap deal. Gianluca Lapadula, M’Baye Naing or Gabriel Paletta could be included in a potential swap deal but Torino want to sell Belotti for a cash offer only.

Belotti has a € 100 million release clause included in his contract with Torino but his release clause is only valid for clubs outside Serie A.

AC Milan are leading the race to sign the Italian star given that Torino President Urbano Cairo confirmed yesterdat that Chelsea have yet to make an opening bid for the Italian star.
