Agent: Arsenal, Chelsea target Perisic 'happy at Inter, never considered leaving'

It appears that Chelsea and Arsenal are to be disappointed in their quest for Inter winger Ivan Perisic.

Often linked to a move away from Milan because of frustration at the lack of Champions League football and a poor start to the current season, the Croatian international seems to be enjoying life under new Coach Silvio Pioli.

“Ivan is really happy at Inter, and never thought of leaving,” his agent told FCInterNews.it, “He wants to stay. Often confusion seems to reign in situations like these.

“He’s very happy now that the new Coach is here,” agent Tonic Martic said, rather suggestively. Does this mean that Perisic had a problem with Frank De Boer? It seems likely".

Perisi scored on Sunday's Derby della Madonnina, rescuing a late point against rivals Milan by ensuring a 2-2 draw.

“He’s satisfied with his performance and goal in the Derby,” Martic continued.

“Everything is going brilliantly with Pioli, they’ve worked really well in the last few weeks”.

Perisic netted seven Serie A goals last season, and has added three more so far in thirteen games.
