Arsenal full-back heading home after agreeing personal terms with Barcelona

Reports from Spain state that Barcelona has agreed personal terms with Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin on a summer move back to the Camp Nou. Radio station RAC1 (via The Sun) claims that the 22-year-old, who was nurtured in the club’s famed Masia academy, will now sit down with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger to try to finalise his departure from The Emirates.

It’s understood that Arsenal are holding out for £50M for the player who is tied down to a long-term contract in North London. This puts the club in a great bargaining position to ensure they get the best price for the Spanish international.

Bellerin himself is believed to be keen to return to Catalonia and has already stated that his family has moved back to Spain whilst citing the need for himself to be playing Champions League football to further develop his career.

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is keen to address the right-back position which was a problem for the Blaugrana last term.
