Arsenal & Man Utd target; "The Premier League is interesting but it does not mean that I will play there"

French international striker Alexandre Lacazette has been involved in a live chat on Facebook which has been published by French Eurosport. Of course the topic of conversation was all about his future having announced that he will be leaving Lyon this summer.

Recent reports stated that he had already agreed a deal to move to Atletico Madrid but when the Spanish side had their transfer embargo upheld by FIFA; the situation looked to have changed. When he was asked about what was going on he replied; “Yes, I’m aware for the penalty inflicted on them but the possibility of waiting six months to be able to play for them does not scare me”.

He was then asked if he could realistically remain on-loan at Lyon for the first half of next season before making the switch to the Spanish capital in January; he explained that; “I don’t think is possible because the President wants the deal finalised. This is a situation that I wouldn't be comfortable with either.”

So the alternatives; reports now suggest he’s bound for the Premier League with both Arsenal and Manchester United vying for his signature. Lacazette however, stated that; “The Premier League is an interesting championship but it does not mean that I will play there. For now these are just rumours”.

Finally, on talk of a possible switch to the Bundesliga to join Borussia Dortmund and to be the heir to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang; “It would be an interesting option, Borussia are a great club”.
