Arsenal meet €30m target, but his agent wants Juventus

Arsenal have met with Blaise Matuidi, according to the latest reports.

Ligue 1 source PSGUnited claim that his agent has met with the Juventus and Manchester United target’s representatives.

The 30-year-old’s deal with PSG runs out next summer, and he was very close to joining the Bianconeri last summer, as he revealed in an interview a few months ago.

According to 101greatgoal’s latest piece, Manchester United are in “regular contact” with the midfielder, who has long been a regular starter for France, and joined PSG in the summer of 2011.

Arsenal are in difficulty, however, when it comes to making an appealing offer: they’re out of the Champions League next season, while Matuidi, who turned thirty this April, wants a new challenge.

L’Equipe wrote today that agent Mino Raiola wants to bring the Frenchman to Juventus. That won’t be easy, either, as the two clubs don’t get along since the Bianconeri poached Kingsley Coman from PSG’s academy.

Beyond that, the French club wants at least 30 million for its man, with Juventus reported to be ready to make a 15m offer.
