Arsenal offer €38m striker way out of AC Milan

Andre Silva could be set for a shock move to Arsenal, according to the latest reports from England.

The Sun write that the Gunners, who really wanted the Portuguese international this summer before he moved to AC Milan for €38 million, are a potential way out for both the 21-year-old and the Rossoneri.

Milan could struggle for money if they fail to land a top four finish, with Adidas and Audi already splitting with the Rossoneri and over €200 million invested in 11 new signings last summer.

With Financial Fair Play breathing down their necks, Milan may be forced to sell up. With Arsenal set to lose both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, someone like Silva would be a welcome replacement.

Silva has scored nine goals in World Cup qualification for his country, and another six in the Europa League with the Rossoneri, but he is still goal-less in Serie A, where stiff competition from Niko Kalinic and Patrick Cutrone is proving difficult to overcome.
