Arsenal & Spurs to go head to head for Monaco ace

There could be another North London battle this summer with reports in the Daily Star that both Arsenal and Spurs are in the hunt for Monaco full-back Djibril Sidibe. The 24-year-old French international is adept at playing on either flank and has also reportedly been on Manchester City’s radar.

The club from the principality are ready to cash-in on their big name stars this summer despite claiming their first French league title for 17 years and Sidibe is believed to be one of the players that the club are prepared to off-load.

The player has already been linked with a move to The Gunners in the past whilst he was playing for Troyes but Monaco nipped in to take him and he has developed into one of Europe’s most accomplished full-backs.

With Spurs also understood to be in the hunt for Sidibe’s team-mate Benjamin Mendy, Mauricio Pochettino is ready to off-load England full-back Kyle Walker who is set to make a move to Manchester City for a reported fee of £40M.
