AS Roma reject Chelsea’s €40m bid for Nainggolan
The Italian paper also claims that the Blues had offered the Belgium International a € 5 million-a-year deal and that the player’s agent was spotted at AS Roma’s training centre yesterday while having a meeting with the club’s DS Walter Sabatini and the GM Baldissoni.
Despite Chelsea’s interest, however, Nainggolan will extend his contract with AS Roma once the transfer window is closed. The former Cagliari man will sign a € 4 million contract until 2020 becoming the third-most paid player of the squad after Daniele De Rossi and Edin Dzeko.
