Barcelona line summer €100m bid for Griezmann: the details

Barcelona are still looking for attacking reinforcements after the departure of Neymar last summer. Ousmane Dembélé is still out of action with an injury and although the blaugrana have plenty of trust in the French winger, Antoine Griezmann is also emerging as a potential summer reinforcement for the La Liga giants.

According to the latest report of Don Balon, Barcelona are preparing a € 100 million bid that would allow the Blaugrana to match the player’s release clause.

Griezmann had also been linked with a move to Manchester United but according to the Spanish news outlet Barcelona are now in pole position to sign the Atletico Madrid star who wants summer exit.

Still according to Don Balon, Griezmann will be offered a € 20 million-a-year salary until 2023. Representatives of the La Liga giants believe the club can afford such a big money move thanks to the sales of some of the team’s outcasts like André Gomes, Arda Turan, Vermaelen, Paco Alcácer, Rafinha and Mascherano.
