Barcelona linked with a move for Colombian ace

After seemingly missing out on the signing of Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, Barcelona have reportedly turned their attention to Juventus star Juan Cuadrado. Goal.com claims that the Catalan giants have the 29-year-old Colombian on their wish-list and new boss Ernesto Valverde is impressed by the player’s ability to play as a natural full-back or attacking wing-back.

Cuadrado has settled into the Juventus line-up under coach Massimo Allegri and was one of their star performers last season which saw them retain their domestic title and reach the final of the Champions League.

Barca had looked set to temp Bellerin back to the Camp Nou were he graduated through the club famed Masia academy before heading to North London, but coach Arsene Wenger’s reluctance to let the player leave the club where he signed a new five-year deal last September, has forced the Blaugrana to look elsewhere for defensive reinforcements this summer.
