Barcelona move hints that he could leave Borussia Dortmund

Ousmane Dembele has dropped another hint that he may be leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer.

The former Rennes man has recently found himself on Barcelona’s transfer wishlist again. The Blaugrana were interested last summer, but were turned down, Dembele asking for regular first-team football.

Speaking to German media, the 20-year-old made it clear that he got on really well with Thomas Tuchel, the Coach who was recently sacked by the Bundesliga side.

“I’m disappointed because he’s a Coach who has given me a lot of confidence,” the young French sensation confirmed,” he told Sky Sports (via Fichajes).

The youngster scored six goals and added twelve assists in 32 leagues games this season, emerging as one of Europe’s most promising attacking midfielders alongside Christian Pulisic.

“Thomas was always there for me, and he’s taught me a lot.

“He’s a very good Coach, with whom I have shared some great moments.

“I don’t know what happened. I haven’t heard anything about personal conflicts with teh team, but our directors have made this decision [to sack him].”

El Mundo Deportivo also wrote two days ago that the midfielder wanted a move away from the Signal Iduna Park.

With Barcelona looking to add fresh blood to the squad, Dembele is high on their wishlist.
