Barcelona offer Turkish midfielder to Inter as the Nerazzurri chase down PSG star

Reports from Italy this morning, claim that Barcelona have offered Inter Milan their Turkish midfielder Arda Turan. The 30-year-old is surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou and new boss Ernesto Valverde has told the player he can leave this summer.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), the Nerazzurri has been given first refusal despite their attentions being fully focused on bringing Lazio frontman Keita Balde to the San Siro to replace the outgoing Ivan Perisic who is set to complete his move to Manchester United in the next few days.

Another Italian sports journal, Tuttosport, states that Inter’s other priority target is Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore. The 28-year-old Argentine, who was brought to Serie A originally by Inter transfer advisor Walter Sabatini when he was Sporting Director at Palermo, could be persuaded to return to the peninsula if the Nerazzurri are prepared to meet his wage demands of €4.5M-a-season.
