Barcelona open Verratti talks with Psg

Barcelona are known to be long time admirers of Psg star Marco Verratti and according to a report of La Gazzetta dello Sport the blaugrana have opened transfer talks with Psg to sign the exciting Italian midfielder. Barcelona are reportedly ready to bid almost € 100 million for the former Pescara man although Psg insist the player is ‘priceless’ and that he’s not going to leave Paris in the summer.

The Italian paper, however, reports that representatives of the La Liga giants had a phone call with Psg’s new director of sport Antero Henrique yesterday with the two parties that are believed to have opened negotiations regarding a possible summer move of Verratti.

The Italian play maker is also a transfer target of Juventus but the Old Lady won’t match Barcelona’s € 100 million bid. Psg do not want to listen to any offer for the 24-year-old star who, however, is reportedly willing to leave Paris and move to Barcelona.
