Berlusconi: ‘Ventura and Tavecchio aren't the only problems. As for AC Milan...’

Silvio Berlusconi talked about Italian football as well as AC Milan in an interview with "Matrix" on Radio 105, here is what he had to say on the matter:

" The departure of Tavecchio and Ventura were necessary but there are also other problems that have to be fixed. It is good for the Italian football to start at zero again but Tavecchio and Ventura aren't the only issues. Italian football has been poor for years now and many people have to take responsibility for this. It is a mistake to blame foreign players, they should be used to help Italian players grow. Milan? Yes in my Milan team I had players like Gullit, Van Basten, Rijkaard, Shevchenko, Kaka, Ibrahimovic alongside Italian champions like Baresi, Costacurta, Tassotti, Maldini, Inzaghi, Gattuso and others...".

FUTURE? " There are too many stories out there, the important thing is that everyone works together. The fans deserve to see a strong Italian national side. I say it as a fan but also as a business man and a politician. Being out of the 2018 World Cup is a very bad thing for the image of Italy. It's really too bad...".
