Boca Juniors’ president reveals the figures behind Bentancur’s Juventus switch

Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici has told South American media that Juventus will sign the Argentineans’ starlet Rodrigo Bentancur.

“They have confirmed me that they want to exercise their clause”, Angelici told TyC Sports.

There is, however, a mystery on how much Juventus will play for the talented 19-yer-old playmaker.

“They [Juventus] will play € 7.5 million for the 50% of the player’s economic rights. After the friendly game against Sevilla (on the 11th of November) I’ll travel to Turin to finalize the deal.”

“Real Madrid and Manchester United also made offers for him, Milan even offered € 15 million. Big clubs have spotted a big talent.”

Juventus had previously communicated that they’d have signed Bentancur for € 9.4 million. Is Angeleri trying to raise the price or do the two parties have reached another agreement?
