Breaking: Juventus agree to Douglas Costa transfer worth €46m

It’s done: Juventus have landed Douglas Costa. Giuseppe Marotta’s recent swoop has seen the Bianconeri nab the Man United, Man City and Liverpool target on a two-year loan.

The Brazilian will be paid 6 million, but will cost 40m more in 2019, when the Bianconeri will be obliged to buy the former Shakhtar man.

The Bayern winger is set to undergo his medical tomorrow, as well as sign a deal which will keep him in Turin for four years.

His arrival could force Arsenal target Juan Cuadrado out of the J Stadium.

Giuseppe Marotta and agent Giovanni Branchini met today with Jan-Christian Dreesen and Michael Gerlinger, who represent the Bavarians.

The meeting occurred in Municgh, on Prinzregentenstraße 73.

Costa is set to become Juve’s third non-EU player.

The former Shakhtar player only started 19 goals in all comps last season, scoring eight times in total. He wanted playing time in order to be a part of Brazil’s World Cup 2018 team.
