Breaking: Juventus close to announcing their first summer signing

Juventus are on the verge of announcing their first summer signing. Calciomercato.com exclusively reported yesterday night that the Old Lady has reached an agreement with both Sampdoria and Patrik Schick.

Representatives of the two clubs have finalized the striker’s summer transfer during a meeting held today. Juventus are set to pay the player’s € 25 million release clause although the Old Lady will try to lower the player’s transfer fee including some of their starlets in the deal.

Schick has informed Sampdoria that he does not want to spend another season on loan at his current club and that he wants to move to Juventus straight away.

The 21-year-old will join his new teammates for the summer training camp in July which is when Allegri will decide whether he is Juventus material or not. The Italian could still decide to send the player out on loan later in the summer but, as of today, Schick will be part of the Juventus senior team for the 2017/18 campaign. An official announcement is expected in the next few hours.
