Breaking: Nesta just confirmed his availability for potential AC Milan position

Alessandro Nesta confirmed that he’s left his position as manager of American second-division club Miami FC. Rumors of his next destination have been swirling about for some time now, and they’ll only get even hotter after this news.
With AC Milan in desperate need of points, and current manager Vincenzo Montella on the ‘hot seat,’ Nesta’s availability will certainly raise eyebrows. His name has been linked to his former club for some time, and Nesta has addressed those rumors as recently as last week.

“The new Milan has not yet taken off, and there are so many issues,” said the defensive legend when asked about his former club’s struggles. “There have been so many changes, but Montella is a great technician. His job at Milan is as complicated as we have seen in recent years.”

He admitted to contacts in the past with Italian clubs, but said he didn’t want to break his contract with Miami. He did not specify which clubs.

He continued, “If I could choose a bench between Milan and Lazio, what would I like? I do not have a preference. In the future, when ready, I hope to train them both.”

He may get his wish very soon.
