Champions League Final Countdown - Ronaldo tells Zidane to leave Bale out of Real Madrid starting XI

The countdown is on to the biggest club game of the season and ahead of this weekend’s Champions League Final in Cardiff, Real Madrid superstar Cristinao Ronaldo is reportedly leading the calls to get his Welsh team-mate Gareth Bale omitted from the starting XI.

The Portuguese phenomenon believes that Bale has not earned his place in the final line-up after missing large chunks of the season through injury. Diario Gol claims that the 32-year-old has told boss Zinedine Zidane that Spanish star Isco should keep his place in the team at the expense of the Welshman.

As well as Ronaldo, the portal claims that both Sergio Ramos and Marcello have also raised their concerns about the possible inclusion of Bale in the first XI to face Juventus on Saturday despite the showpiece being held in the player’s home country.

The aforementioned trio were annoyed that Bale announced himself fit to play El Clasico last month only to hobble off during the first-half of a match Real went on to lose to their arch rivals Barcelona.
