What you need to know ahead of the kick-off
  • This is the first competitive encounter between Qarabag and Roma.
  • No Azerbaijani club has ever beaten an Italian side in European competition (D2 L4).
  • Qarabag’s 6-0 defeat against Chelsea on matchday one was the joint-heaviest loss for a team making their Champions League debut alongside Sporting Braga (6-0 defeat v Arsenal in September 2010).
