Chelsea & Juventus alerted as Spurs pounce on German wonderkid

  • Jordan Russell
Tottenham have joined an ever-increasing list of clubs interested in signing Hamburg striker Jann-Fiete Arp, who has attracted admiring glances from the likes of Juventus, Chelsea and Arsenal. The teenager – a prolific goalscorer for Germany at Under-17 level – has managed to break into the Bundesliga side’s first team this season, finding the net twice in just three appearances.

The aforementioned clubs have already sent scouts to watch him this term, while  Tottenham have taken notice of the 17-year-old’s rapid development too. His recent strike against Hertha Berlin made him his club’s youngest ever goalscorer, before he added to that tally in a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart last weekend.

The fact Tottenham have registered an interest in the youngster will excite both Arp and the North London club’s supporters in equal measure, given the fact he has already said his role model is Harry Kane. There are noticeable similarities between the two as well. He is only contracted to Die Rothosen until 2019, so they are already said to be preparing themselves to receive bids for the talented youngster.
