German media outlet Kicker report that Chelsea have set their sights on Bayern Munich's Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal.

According to the report the Blues interest is real, despite the uncertainty surrounding current manager Antonio Conte who brought Arturo Vidal to Juventus enjoying a very successful spell together for 3 seasons before Conte resigned to take over the Italian national team.

Kicker report further that Bayern Munich have slapped a price tag of €55 million on the former Juventus player which does not scare off an advance from the reigning Premier League champions who are looking to strenghten their central midfield. Should Roman Abramovich's club make a move in that region for Vidal, that would effectively end Inter's interest in the player who they have been rumoured to want to bring in when the transfer window opens in January.

Arturo Vidal featured a 171 times for the Bianconeri getting on the scoresheet across all competitions on 48 occasions helping the club win 7 titles including 4 successive Serie A titles.
