Chelsea to tie up 60 million deal for Brazilian full-back

Reports this morning suggest that Chelsea are close to signing one of their priority summer targets. The Daily Star writes that the Blues look to have sealed a £60M deal for Juventus full-back Alex Sandro after Bianconeri chiefs were force to accept they could not keep hold of the Brazilian international.

Having arrived in Turin from Porto for £23M in 2015, the 26-year-old has been a revelation in Serie A but interest from the Premier League champions has turned his head and now he’s looking for a move away.

It’s understood that personal terms have already been agreed between the player and the West London side and Juve CEO, Beppe Marotta conceded defeat in a recent interview when he stated that; “We have no intention of selling anyone but if a player decides to leave, as has happened in previous years, then at the end of the day he has to go. We don’t keep anyone against their will.”
