Conte responds to AC Milan talk

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has given his response to ongoing speculation linking him with a move to AC Milan.

The Italian tactician has come under pressure at Chelsea so far this season, but their win over Manchester United on Sunday would have been a huge boost for him and all connected to the club.

Meanwhile, Milan also won at Sassuolo to offer some relief to Vincenzo Montella, but Conte doesn't sound too interested in the rumours as he remains focused on his task at Stamford Bridge.

"Milan? Leave it out. We're trying to stay concentrated, because it's a tough run from here to the end of the season," he told Sky Sport Italia, as reported by The Express.

"I am only concentrated on Chelsea and purely want to do what is best for Chelsea."

Conte delivered the Premier League title in his first season in charge at the club, while Montella was able to secure Europa League football for Milan as both looked secure in their positions.

However, both have come under intense pressure so far this year having failed to live up to expectations to this point, but for now it seems as though no changes will be made heading into the international break as they'll hope their respective wins are a step in the right direction in the weeks and months ahead.
