‘Conte the future manager of AC Milan’

‘Conte the future manager of AC Milan’

Former Juventus CEO Luciano Moggi knows Antonio Conte very well, there is no doubt about it. Moggi, in fact, brought Conte to Juventus during his playing career and the duo is still on very good terms.

Moggi was banned from Italian football for life after the ‘Calcipoli’ scandal hit Italian football in summer 2006. He has been found guilty of match fixing and Juventus were relegated to second division after the scandal.

Moggi, however, is still working as a pundit for a few Italian newspapers and he has revealed through his official Twitter account that Antonio Conte may become the next boss of AC Milan.
“Conte-Milan, il future” (Conte-AC Milan, the future), Moggi wrote in his official social media account sparking further speculations that the Italian tactician will soon leave Chelsea.

Conte openly admitted a couple of weeks ago that he is considering a return to Italy and current AC Milan boss Montella will leave the club if he fails to qualify for the Champions League as there is an exit clause that allows AC Milan to sack Montella if he fails to reach this season’s minimum target. The Italian manager is already on the brink having lost three of the opening seven Serie A games.
