Di Maria and Ozil want Real Madrid return

30 November at 13:35
Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil want to return to Real Madrid, today’s edition of Marca reports. The German attacking midfielder is negotiating a new contract with Arsenal, but the two parties have failed to find agreement with Ozil who is reportedly considering moving back to Madrid instead of signing a new long-term deal with the Premier League giants.

The 28-year-old star has 18 months left in his contract with the North London club and although Wenger has already said that he’s going to splash the cash to extend both his and Alexis Sanchez’s deals, there are still no signs of improvement for the contract extension of both Arsenal stars.

The Spanish paper claims that Ozil want Real Madrid return and that his close friend Sergio Ramos is pushing for him to return at the Bernabeu.

Di Maria’s link with a return to Real Madrid is not as straightforward. The Argentinean’s agent had been reproaching the LaLiga giants after his client’s departure towards Manchester United back in 2014 and although the Argentinean star is struggling to adapt to PSG’s style, his contract with the Ligue1 giants expires in 2019 and the Merengues are not on such good terms with him as they are with Ozil.
