Did Barcelona target meet Messi in an Ibiza nightclub?
The Italian midfielder was in Ibiza recently, and was spotted with Javier Pastore and agent Donato Di Campli.
The Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich target has been engaging in a war of words with his club, repeatedly dropping hints of a departure, before denying everything.
There was more, however: the local papers claim that Lionel Messi was in the same place, and that they all ate together.
Though Verratti’s representatives have denied everything. While Messi was definitely in the same club, we are awaiting confirmation on whether the meeting took place.
The 24-year-old’s agent recently met with Antero Henrique, PSG’s sporting director, only for Di Campli to then claim that Juventus had “more appeal” than the Ligue 1 side, because of their winning record.
The Italian has scored six goals and made 28 assists in all competitions with the Parisians since joining in 2012.
