Dortmund eyeing shock move for Premier League boss

Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are reportedly eyeing a potential shocking move for Huddersfield boss David Wagner.

Current BVB boss Peter Bosz – who arrived from Ajax in the summer – is under serious pressure after a 2-1 loss to Spurs at home in the Champions League. A new report claims that Bosz could soon be replaced – and that the German club have turned to the Premier League in their search for a potential new boss.

Wagner has already worked at the Signal Iduna Park when he was assistant and then academy coach during Jurgen Klopp’s tenure at BVB.

Since his appointment at Huddersfield, he has completely transformed the Terriers, leading them to promotion to the Premier League during his first full season in charge at the John Smiths Stadium. The 46-year-old has also had a good start to life in the top flight with the Yorkshire club, who currently sit in the top half with four wins already on the board.

Should he move to Germany, he’ll become the first American international player to manage in the Bundesliga. He’d also teammate with his countryman Christian Pulisic.
