Juventus want to sign a new centre midfielder to add depth and quality in the middle of the park. No secret that the Old Lady has already scheduled the likes of Steven N’Zonzi, Emre Can and Nemanja Matic as possible summer reinforcements.

The Serbian is on his way out of the Stamford Bridge after his omission from Chelsea’s pre-season tour in the USA and Juventus are reportedly keen to sign the former Benfica star.

The Premier League giants have slapped a € 45 million price-tag on their departing midfielder and are not open to make any discount for Juve given that the Italians won’t sell Alex Sandro to the Premier League champions.

Manchester United had also been linked with a move for Matic but Chelsea won’t send the Serbian to the Old Trafford given that José Mourinho has just hijacked their bid to sign Romelu Lukaku.
