    Empoli prodigy Saponara tells Juve: 'Not in January!'

    As reported in the last few days, Juventus will probably try to sign an attacking midfielder during the next transfer window, and one of the most credible options is Empoli 23-year-old Riccardo Saponara. Following a three-match suspension, the former AC Milan player is ready to challenge Sampdoria on Thursday night in Genoa.
     
    “The rage is gone, I have learned my lesson” Saponara stated. “It won’t happen again”. “I have always felt the pressure” –he added- “but it had never turned into irritation before”.
     
    Saponara also talked about the rumors regarding a possible transfer to the Serie A defending champions.“

    "Of course I am honoured by the interest of such great clubs, but I have a task to accomplish with Empoli."
