Exclusive: Jorge Mendes offers AC Milan attacking reinforcement

Struggling Serie A giants AC Milan are eyeing a possible move for Lille star Anwar El-Ghazi, reports Fabrizio Romano. It is believed that the Dutchman, who is a product of the famed Ajax youth academy, has failed to settle in at Lille and isn’t quite comfortable with the methods of manager Marcelo Bielsa and wants to move on to experience something new. Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli did try acquiring his signature this past summer but a move failed to materialize. El-Ghazi has the same agent as summer signing Andre Silva and he could be doing business with the rossoneri once again in the near future. While Milan don’t want to sign El-Ghazi this January because the moves made in winter will be shrewd and they don’t see the Dutchman as a player who is consistent and gives guarantees of tactical discipline, but a move can happen in the near future. He could have been an option in January, if he were cheap but Milan’s priority in the upcoming winter window will be a central midfielder.
