Exclusive: Juve to meet agents of defender on Real Madrid and Man Utd radars

Diogo Dalot has the potential to be a staple on an elite team’s backline for many years to come. As a result, clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United have taken a keen interest in the right wing. Now, in a power move, Juventus plans to open a communications channel with his agents.

Since they lost Dani Alves this past summer, the Bianconeri have struggled to replace his presence on the right wing. Though they received Mattia De Sciglio in the Leo Bonucci swap, he’s spent most of the season sidelined due to injury.

At only 18-years-old, Dalot only features regularly on the Porto B team. Still, though, clubs feel he’s ready to make the jump to the highest level. At the moment, Napoli is favored to add him, as they’ve showed interest the longest. However, Juventus is ready to assert their position and edge out the other clubs to acquire his services.
