Exclusive: Juventus planning summer coup for Lukaku

Juventus are still chasing Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, we can exclusively reveal.

It’s no secret that the Old Lady has been watching the former Chelsea man on a weekly basis. What may not be common knowledge is that Fabio Paratici and Giuseppe Marotta like the Belgian international the more they’ve seen him.

The idea is that the Bianconeri are already planning to reinforce their squad for next year, and need a third, high-calibre striker to play alongside Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.

This would be Mario Mandzukic, but it looks like the Croatian wants guaranteed playing time.

Lukaku is expensive, of course, but money’s no longer an issue for Juventus, not after they spent 90 million on Higuain.

As long as the Bianconeri can negotiate the price, they’ll be interested, especially with friendly agent Mino Raiola involved.

The Toffees know they won’t be able to keep Lukaku forever. Juventus are likely to send agents to tomorrow’s trip to Southampton. If he keeps this up, he could well end up being the Old Lady’s summer priority...
