EXCLUSIVE Marino: 'Roma and Fiorentina have done well on the market"

The fight for the scudetto between Napoli and Juventus didn’t leave any mark on the recent transfer market window. Both these clubs have in fact decided to invest only on some prospects, probably not to ruin their team’s balance. Only at the end of the season it will be possible to say if it was the best choice, for the moment we can’t give a judgement.
Inter Milan needed a midfielder, but after realizing that it was not possible to bring back to Italy Andrea Pirlo or David Pizarro, they decided to focus on seeking a second striker. They last a lot of time after Lavezzi, then they signed Eder. The latter has been the most important strike of the entire transfer market, but the nerazzurri’s campaign was just sufficient.
Fiorentina have been very active on the transfer market. They have been tracking for a long time Lisandro Lopez, who would have been a great signing, but finally they had to swoop on Benalouane, a player that I know very well and who can become extremely important for the viola, as well as Tello.
AS Roma’s most important signing has been the return of Luciano Spalletti and, two talented players as El Shaarawy and Perotti are perfect for Luciano’s formation. Moreover, the arrival of Zukanovic may solve some problems on the team’s flank.
AC Milan’s transfer market doesn’t even deserve to be commented. The missed transfer of Luiz Adriano to China has been grotesque. Berlusconi has done they right thing by decided not to invest any more money, and to give confidence to Mihajlovic.
