Exclusive: New Inter boss blocks exit of top Man Utd target

This is going to be a very busy summer for Inter given that the nerazzurri’s main target will be qualify for the Champions League for the first time in six years. The first step they’ll make in order to reach their target is to hire a new manager.

Calciomercato.com has exclusively learned that the Serie A giants will carry on negotiations with Luciano Spalletti this week. Inter will offer Spalletti a two-year deal with an option for one more season and both parties are hopeful that an agreement can be reached as soon as possible.

The Italian is already planning Inter’s transfer campaign. The former AS Roma boss has requested not to sell Man Utd target Ivan Perisic although the nerazzurri need to sell one of their big names for more than € 30 million before the 30th of June. Inter, in fact, need to stick with the rules imposed by the FFP before the beginning of the summer, when they will be allowed to spend as much as they want.

Calciomercato.com has also learned that Inter and Manchester United have not reached an agreement for the Croat. The Red Devils have failed to match the player’s € 55 million price-tag and the nerazzurri have told their former boss José Mourinho that they are not going to sell Perisic for less than that.
