EXCLUSIVE Romano: Juventus consider summer bid for Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan won’t be extending his contract with Borussia Dortmund, the player’s agent Mino Raiola revealed yesterday.

The Armenian midfielder runs out of contract in summer 2017 and failing to sell him in the upcoming transfer window would force the Bundesliga giants to lose the player as a free agent at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
According to CM.com transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are considering a summer offer for the 27-year-old who can play both as winger and trequartista.

The Old Lady had already tried to sign him in the two previous transfer windows, but Borussia have always declined all offers.

Juventus are not the only top European club interested in welcoming the player’s services. Arsenal and another couple of Premier League clubs have added Mkhitaryan to their wish list and also other Bundesliga clubs could make an offer in the summer.

The player has rejected a contract offer of BVB worth € 5 million a year and would ask Juventus an annual salary of € 4 million at least.

Juventus have failed to made any official yet, but Marotta and Paratici believe that an offer around € 25 million might convince the German club. Being on very good terms with the player’s agent Mino Raiola will only help negotiations.
