EXCLUSIVE Romano: Juventus make new attempt for Cuadrado

Juventus are still interested in signing Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea, CM.com transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano can exclusively reveal.

The Colombian winger spent the last season on loan at the J Stadium scoring five goals and registering four assists in 41 games in all competitions.

Juventus had no option to make the Colombian winger’s move permanent and the former Fiorentina star made his return to the Stamford Bridge at the end of the last campaign. However, after Berardi’s snub and Morata’s farewell, the Old Lady wants to make attempt to re-sign the Colombian ace.

According to Romano, Juventus will make a loan offer with option to buy set to € 24-25 millions. Chelsea have slapped € 30 million price-tag on the 28-year-old winger who is one of Antonio Conte’s favourite players, so much so the incoming Chelsea boss wanted to sign him from Fiorentina when he was still in charge of the bianconeri.

Conte doesn’t want to lose Cuadrado, that’s why convincing Chelsea to sell the Colombian ace will be extremely complicated. Cuadrado, however, prefers a return to Serie A. He believes that the Italian league’s style of play fits with his qualities more than what the Premier League does.

Juventus will make everything they can to bring Cuadrado back to the Stadium.
