    EXCLUSIVE Romano: Vazquez agrees to join Milan!

    Although president Maurizio Zamparini recently ruled out his January exit, Palermo’s star Franco Vazquez already agreed to join AC Milan, calciomercato.com’s transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano exclusively reveals.

    The 26-year-old was offered a four or five year contract worth € 1,4 million a year, but the Rossoneri are now dealing with the hardest part of negotiations, which is finding an agreement with Maurizio Zamparini.

    Earlier last week, the 74-year-old entrepreneur revealed that Franco Vazquez’s price for next June is € 30 million, while if any club want to buy him in January, his price tag is € 37 million.

    The reason of Milan’s early approach to El Mudo is the huge number of teams which are also chasing the Italy International. The Rossoneri Serie A rivals Juventus are also in race for Palermo’s ace.

    Although Vazquez’s Palermo exit seems highly unlikely to happen in January, Milan hop to acquire the offensive midfielder € 15/18 million in June.
