Exclusive: Torino furious at constant courtship of €100m Chelsea target

Urbano Cairo is not happy about AC Milan’s attempts at signing star striker Andrea Belotti, we can reveal.

The striker has refused to be photographed with Torino’s new shirt, not to mention appear in Sky Italia’s ad campaign for the upcoming Serie A season, likely because of the Rossoneri’s courtship.

Belotti, who scored a freakish 28 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions for Torino, is being chased by the likes of PSG, Chelsea and Arsenal, as well as Manchester United.

Now, owner Cairo is furious at the Rossoneri because they’ve constantly approached Belotti, a childhood Rossoneri fan, one who even had a picture taken with Mario Balotelli when he was still an unknown player in the third division.

Cairo didn’t appreciate Milan’s managing director, Marco Fassone, saying that “it’d be nice to have one between Belotti, Morata and Aubameyang, let’s see who will be chosen”.

Torino are still asking for €100 million for the 23-year-old, his release clause. It appears, however, that Torino would accept soneone like M’Baye Niang or Gabriel Paletta to bring the price down to €80m.
