Fenerbahce make their move for 30 million Liverpool target

Having failed to impress in his debut season in Europe, Inter striker Gabigol is looking for somewhere new to kick-start his career. The 20-year-old failed to hold down a starting berth at the San Siro despite playing under three different coaches during the season.

Reports earlier this week suggested he could be about to head to La Liga to join Las Palmas on a season long loan deal; now Turkish publication Fanatik claims that the Istanbul giants have entered the race to sign a player who has been valued at around €30M.

With Liverpool also being linked in the past, Gabigol’s future remains unclear. The player himself recently stated that he was happy to be back in Brazil on holiday where he could finally relax claiming that it had been a hectic nine months in Italy were he had failed to get any privacy.

With Luciano Spalletti set to take over at the Nerazzurri, it remains to be seen whether Gabigol figures in the Tuscan tactician’s plans for the new campaign.
