Fiorentina, price set for Simeone amid interest from Cagliari and Sampdoria

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Giovanni Simeone is still considered part of the plans with Fiorentina. The 24-year-old striker has had contact with Cagliari and Sampdoria, with la Viola valuing the player at €12m. There is a proposed exchange with Sampdoria between Simone and 27-year-old Italian striker Manolo Gabbiadini, but the Tuscan club is not convinced by the Sampdoria striker. Fiorentina still have a few weeks to make a deal, with the transfer window closing on September 2nd.
