Former AC Milan target set for Valencia medical ahead of €9m move from Juventus

Watford had been chasing Juventus second-choice goalkeeper Neto for very long time and the Old Lady was even willing to sell the former Fiorentina star to the Premier League side given that their €10 million bid was the best offer the bianconeri had received for Neto.

AC Milan had also made contact with the player’s entourage when Donnarumma initially told them that he would have not signed a contract extension. The Brazilian goalkeeper, however, had already reached an agreement with Valencia and wanted to move to Spain only.

The La Liga side’s opening € 7 million bid was not enough for Juve who wanted to sell Neto for € 10 million.

Valencia, however, have raised their offer to € 9 million (€ 7 million plus € 2 million add-ons) and Juventus have agreed to send the player to Spain. According to a report of Sky Sport, Neto is going to have his medical with Valencia today ahead of signing a contract with his new club.
