'Guarin may remain at Inter' agent says

Eleven days before the closure of the current transfer window, the future of Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin remains uncertain: the 29-year-old is attracted by Jiangsu’s offer, but wants some financial warrants.
Interviewed by the Colombian medias, Marcelo Ferreyra, agent of the former FC Porto man, has explained: “We are evaluating, it’s not an easy negotiation; on one hand, we are negotiating with the club, on the other, there is the need to have some warrants; we are calm, we are waiting for Inter’s decision, then we’ll evaluate the contract offered to the player. We have always been in talks with the Chinese club, there is an agreement with the club and even with Inter middle-men who are negotiating with the Chinese club, but all that’s been promised hasn’t been written. Many things can be said, but something becomes official only if there is a signed contract”
“Does the transfer fee amount to €18 million? No, not that much. For this reason, I say that one thing is the club’s decision, another one Fredy’s. The two clubs are talking, then it will be up to us” he added “I know that the Chinese market is huge, but the amount offered is much less than €18 million. If the transfer won’t be carried out, Fredy will remain at Inter, as the coach counts on him. It’s an opportunity, but if all the parties won’t find an agreement, no problem, he will stay in Milan”
