Here's what West Ham must pay for Arsenal & England midfielder

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is heading out of The Emirates this summer but The Gunners are looking for a competitive price for his signature. The 25-year-old, who spent last season on-loan at Bournemouth, has returned to North London knowing that it is only a matter of time before he packs his bags for good to continue his career elsewhere.

He may have to look too far either for his next destination with the Daily Star reporting that West Ham United are ready to offer him a Premier League lifeline. Wilshere is currently trying to get back to full fitness ahead of next month’s big kick-off after suffering a leg fracture in April. There has been interest from abroad too with Serie A side Sampdoria ready to take him to Italy. The port club’s offer or £6M plus £1.5M in add-ons, is way short of what Arsenal value their player.

Indeed, the journal suggests that any potential takers will have to table an offer somewhere in the region of £20M to prize him away from North London so the ball looks to be firmly in the court of Hammers chiefs David Sullivan and David Gold.
