Inter Milan news: Marotta lines up Man U star as first purchase

According to the latest reports from Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport, Beppe Marotta, who is set to become the new CEO of Inter Milan, has already lined up his first two market shots.

The first player that Marotta wants to help bring to Inter is Manchester United’s French forward Anthony Martial. Martial is a real talent but has a contact with the Red Devils expiring in the summer of 2019. Therefore, Inter and Marotta will seek to sign the Frenchman on a free transfer.

The other name is Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella who has recently started starring for the Italian national team, another of Marotta’s targets for Inter. Barella is also a target of Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan and Juventus – so the former Juve CEO will have his work cut out for him if he wants to pip his former club to the signing of this young Italian starlet.
