Inter ready to send €30m Liverpool target on loan

Inter are ready to send Gabigol on loan to UD Las Palmas, according to El Larguero.

Previously chased by Liverpool, the Brazilian star moved to Inter for  30 million last summer, only to make ten (very short) appearances this season.

His agent, Wagner Ribeiro, has repeatedly complained about his client’s lack of playing time, as Antonio Candreva and Eder have eaten up the lion’s share of the minutage.

With a recent offer being made by Las Palmas, it emerges that the Spaniards want Inter to pay part of the Brazilian star’s €2.7 million salary.

The Mallorcan side also added the likes of Kevin-Prince Boateng and Jese Rodriguez last season, proving that they’re ambitious in the transfer window.

Gabigol recently left the bench during the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 away win to Lazio (he was an unused sub) alongside Joao Mario, later apologising: “I could see that such an attitude is contrary to sportiness and my professional values. I acknowledge my mistake and I would like to put my sincere apologies to all the Nerazzurri (who have always supported me) and to my teammates!"
