Inter, Spalletti: "When you win everything goes..."

Inter Milan beat Atalanta 2-0 tonight at the San Siro in Milano as Luciano Spalletti's club leapfrogged Juventus into second place in the Italian Serie A standings. Inter are now 2 points back of Napoli but they also have a 2 point advantage over Juventus. Here is what Inter boss Luciano Spalletti had to say to Premium Sport after the game :

" Inter now have a face and an identity. Tonight we played like a mature team. We were patient and we hit them at the right moment. Icardi? Yes he is a great striker but I think that when you win, it is the merit of the team. We did not give Atalanta much and we defended well when they counter-attacked us. We created good offensive chances which allowed Icardi to score. I didn't change much within the formation since these players have a good understanding between one another. We played well for nearly the entire game so I am happy with this performance. Miranda and Skriniar played high which allowed us to move the ball like we wanted to. Even so, Atalanta have solid players so we had to respect them. Inter is the anti-Napoli? When you win everything goes. I don't really care what title the papers write, I am just focused on winning...".

Inter have to feel great as Icardi was once again decisive for them....
