Italy fans react to Ballack’s incendiary tweet on Italy’s elimination

Chelsea and Bayern Munich legend Michael Ballack commented Italy’s elimination from the World Cup play-offs with an incendiary Twitter message that sent his social media page into meltdown. Ballack commented with three simple words that sent Italian fans absolutely mad:

“Pray for Italy”, the former Germany star tweeted. Italy fans from all around the globe commented his message with pictures, videos and gifs of Italy beating Germany in the semi-finals of the 2006 World Cup with the azzurri who went on to win their fourth World Cup in the final against France. That’s the way, lads!
